Leading global environmental consultancy APEM Group has appointed Alyssa Giannoni to the role of Senior Environmental Consultant.
Alyssa Giannoni
An experienced multi-disciplinary Environmental Manager, Alyssa brings a holistic approach to environmental management and an appreciation for the complex decision-making needed to support the emerging offshore wind industry and broader energy sector in Australia.
With 12 years in the environmental sector, Alyssa has worked in a range of industries including construction, education and training, aquaculture and fisheries, with experience in professional, scientific, and technical services in the fields of contaminated land, environmental management, and marine consulting.
As well as significant project experience supporting clients with environmental assessments and monitoring, Alyssa brings strategic expertise in stakeholder management, supporting clients to develop and maintain sustainable outcomes, influencing decision makers, and educating the workforce to achieve enduring environmental success.
I’m thrilled to be joining APEM Group at a time of real growth in Australia, both for the offshore wind industry and for APEM Group itself. As offshore wind projects commence in Australia, I’m looking forward to utilising the expertise from our UK team and bringing this vast experience and lessons learned to Australian projects.

Alyssa’s appointment strengthens the growing APEM Group team in Australia, adding to the extensive work, monitoring and information that is already under way for offshore renewables in Australia. Joining in the same week as APEM Group acquired leading ecology and heritage consultants Biosis, Alyssa’s experience and deep understanding of environmental and heritage conditions will strengthen APEM Group’s support for clients in their delivery of sustainable projects to benefit the environment and the communities they support.
