Global environmental consultancy APEM Group are delighted to announce the appointment of Greg Johnson, Finance & Commercial Manager, and Erica Stander, Senior Legal Counsel. Based in Australia, Greg and Erica will provide in-country support and advice on new contracts, client projects and acquisitions.
The appointments support the rapid expansion of APEM Group in Australia, with the acquisition of Biosis in June 2024 and Attexo in September 2024, as well as a growing team of experts in EIA and approvals who are supporting the developing offshore wind industry and broader energy sector in Australia.
We are thrilled to welcome both Greg and Erica to the Group, who will be key to enable integration of our businesses in Australia and build strong relationships across the teams to support the Group realise its ambitions for the Australian and wider APAC market.

Greg Johnson joins APEM Group as Finance and Commercial Manager, bringing experience in operational finance with a focus on integration and operations in a high growth environment.
It’s been a very busy and enjoyable start to my time at APEM Group. I’m excited to join a group of passionate specialists and staff across the globe and look forward to supporting and integrating the in-country Biosis, Attexo and APEM teams. There is huge growth potential in the renewables sector here in Australia, though a lot of resourcing will be required to realise that growth in a sustainable way. Erica Stander joins APEM Group in Australia as Senior Legal Counsel, bringing experience in finance and general commercial law, highly regulated industries and an understanding of the legal oversight needed in a developing business with broadening needs, as well as sensitivity in risk management and building relationships with clients and colleagues.
