Introducing Will Warner, Divisional Director – Water Quality, who joins APEM Group with 30 years’ experience in the environmental sector, including in relation to water and wastewater, air, road and rail transportation, and energy and renewables.
Will’s core technical background and experience is in water quality, both as an environmental consultant and within the UK water industry. This has evolved into managing large multi-disciplinary operational teams of environmental and engineering consultants, as well as taking on environmental governance, strategy and compliance roles within a UK water company.
Will brings key insight into how water companies operate and are regulated, as well as a passion for managing and developing client and partnership relationships.
I’m really excited to be joining APEM Group at a time of change and significant investment. As well as wishing to diversify into other sectors, AMP8 is the biggest water industry spending round we have seen. A big focus of this year and beyond will be on environmental investigations and improvements, with some sizeable programmes of work across the UK. We’ve already begun to respond to existing client needs and look forward to broadening our presence and partnership working with others.
– Will Warner, Divisional Director – Water Quality, APEM Group
Will has had responsibility for large and diverse teams and is looking forward to developing the capability and breadth of the APEM Group Water Quality Division. His appointment strengthens the APEM Group offering in water, following closely behind the appointment of Jonathan Morgans, Divisional Director – Water Management in 2024. Together with Hannah Austin, Divisional Director – Water Science, Will and Jon (supported by David Bradley and Peter Dennis) are positioned to lead their divisions in support of changing requirements and challenges facing the water industry.
It’s great to have Will on board as part of the Water Sector leadership team. Will’s addition to the team broadens and strengthens our capability, allowing us to leverage a wider array of services into and beyond the UK water sector. His appointment comes at an ideal time as we commence our AMP8 service provision, allowing us to further develop how we partner with our clients in the high-profile area of providing clean water. I look forward to working with our growing leadership team and continuing to see the sustainable growth of the Sector.
